Anna and Sammy both live and work in Barcelona but their wedding was held at Anna’s family home in the beautiful village of Brancaster, right on the North Norfolk coast. The wedding ceremony was in Brancaster church just a short walk from the house although on the way back they took advantage of a wonderful vintage van courtesy of Sammy’s family business. Time was a little tight with a late wedding ceremony but I’m pleased to say Sammy’s excellent planning paid off and everything ran like clockwork. Without further ado, here are some of the highlights of their fabulous day.
Getting ready at the family home in Brancaster
Whilst Anna and her bridesmaids were getting ready upstairs, all the children were getting dressed up as either cowboys or Indians (complete with bows & arrows) making for some great pictures
I love this sequence of photos as Anna realises that I’m there watching with the camera
Sammy and a very proud granny
The bridesmaids arrived in style in a fabulous old vintage car whilst Sammy make the short trip from home in a vintage Jag
That’s one proud Dad
A curious Red Indian!
After the short trip back from the church we stole ten minutes away from the guests to head off to the dunes at the back of the house for some photos
Back at the reception
A slightly disgruntled looking cowboy!
The marquee for the reception was absolutely huge and had been beautiful decorated with huge logs from which old-fashioned light bulbs hung – a really creative touch
The Best Man’s speech naturally dished out a fair amount of ritual humiliation
After the speeches, the first dance and party time!
