The Keeper & The Dell Wedding
The Keeper & The Dell is a fairly new wedding venue just down the road from Ringland, North of Norwich. The venue is very rustic, quite bohemian and gorgeous in the summer with large grounds and a marquee at one end of the site, sunk down into a natural dip in the land and nestled amongst the trees. To personalise things Ben and Em spent days and days preparing and decorating the site and the marquee for their wedding including painting nearly 100 chairs so that they all matched and covering lots of polystyrene balls on sticks with wool for decoration. The place looked fantastic and fortunately the weather was really kind to them (especially fortunate as there wasn’t much in the way of a wet-weather plan!).
We started the day at Ben & Em’s house in Costessey for bridal preparations
I love this shot – chief bridesmaid Kate and Em tuck into some chocolate buttons before the wedding apparently oblivious to my presence!
The wedding ceremony was a short drive away in Ringland church
Daughter Poppy was a flower girl
It was only a short walk from Ringland church to the Keeper & The Dell so Ben & Em and the rest of the guests headed off down the road
What a beautiful venue!
Best Man Elf had flown in from Miami & gave a brilliant speech
As the evening wore on the table tennis/drinking games began in earnest – definitely some sore heads in the morning
The first dance was outside in the evening twilight. I think that’s the first time I’ve seen an outside first dance – magical.
Sparklers to round off a wonderful day
