Glemham Hall Wedding
I’m getting seriously behind on my blogging – blame it on being too busy & the days getting shorter! Looking at these pictures makes me realise how quickly the summer came and went this year – it was all a bit of a blur, especially August when I shot something like 9 weddings. Anyway down to business. Today it’s the turn of Alex and Penelope who chose the fabulous Glemham Hall in Suffolk for their wedding. It’s was the first time I’d photographed a wedding there and it was wonderful! It’s essentially an old stately home with some superb rooms with lovely dark panelling (great for skin tones!) and some beautiful gardens offering a host of photo opportunities.
Penelope was definitely completely relaxed for the entire day whilst the boys were initially running around like headless chickens as they tried to get everything ready (although once the ceremony was over and they could enjoy a few well earned beers they were distinctly more relaxed).
Bridal preparations at Glemham Hall – what a wonderful place to get ready for a wedding

Can you spot me? Discretion is everything! Photo courtesy of my assistant Cameron in the church balcony
The ushers directing the guests back at Glemham Hall (in-between swigging whisky from hip flasks and looking guilty)
No idea what he just said but it looks a bit contentious
Best Man Haang rocked the house and managed to reduce Alex to a nervous wreck!
Alex’s family is Greek so we were treated to a bit of Greek dancing to finish the night off
