I was back at the lovely Southwood Hall a week or so ago to photograph Chris and Kirsty’s wedding. The dress code was black tie (I think the only black tie wedding I’ve shot from memory) so everyone looked immaculate (particularly their young son Evan who also did very well to manage a reading during the ceremony). Both Kirsty and Chris work together in the construction industry and brought along a steel beam with a backdrop of the New York skyline in order to set up a photo opportunity to recreate the iconic images of workers erecting buildings in New York in the 1930s (another first!). In the evening we were treated to an amazing sunset over the fields at the back of Southwood Hall and also managed a bit of light painting for good measure.
